Last weekend I attended a big carpet event in Taoyuan, close to Taipei, in Taiwan. The race was the ORCA Cup. The race saw competitors in TC and 1/12 modified classes. The race featured a technical and fairly low grip carpet course which proved challenging to all competitors.

In the TC event, I took an unchallenged TQ and win in front of HK star drivers Chan Hay Lai and Chan Chau Man, both also running T4'15 cars, which made it an all-XRAY podium in that class.

In the 1/12 class, I could dominate in an equal fashion as my X12'15 was handling flawlessly throughout the weekend. I took the TQ and win in the first two finals.

A big thanks to Frankie Lui and all the organizers for setting up a great event with lots of fun. I hope to see a similar event next year in Asia!
